Mid-day, off in the distance, I can see the skyline of Panama City.\u00a0 Panama City!\u00a0 We cue up Panama by Van Halen. Closer and closer we get to the skyline.\u00a0 Darold navigates us across the shipping lane and we see the stream of ships coming out of the canal.\u00a0 To either side of the main shipping channel there are dozens of large cargo vessels and tankers anchored \u2013 all waiting their turn.\u00a0 We take down the sails and motor over to the anchorage.\u00a0 We did it.\u00a0 We have so much further to go on this voyage, but for now \u2013 this is enough.\u00a0 We sailed further east than Miami, Florida.
